BFS14(F) – Brownfield Site 100% Wildflower Mix

BFS14(F) is a 100% wildflower mix for brownfield sites: free-draining ground, often of post-industrial origin, that is under increasing pressure from development. Brownfield sites qualify as a habitat of principal importance, known as ‘Open Mosaic Habitat on Previously Developed Land’ (OMHPDL).

The mix suits a wide range of free-draining substrates. It combines ephemeral species that colonise bare ground, tall biennial species that add structure to the sward, and perennial species that establish a permanent meadow habitat. Brownfield sites like this support important habitat for priority invertebrates and reptiles.

Sowing rate: 1 to 2g/m². Contains 100% wildflowers (20 species).
