Cornfield annuals give a colourful, fast display in their first summer after sowing. They don’t behave like a perennial meadow: the ground needs tilling again every autumn if you want them to come back the following year. Sow this mix on its own for a traditional cornfield look, or add it into a wildflower meadow or grass seed mixture for extra colour in year one.
