Chewings and creeping red fescues form most of the blend, with smooth-stalked meadow grass and browntop bent adding a dense, durable finish. About Prize Grass Seed Mix (non Ryegrass)
This blend leaves ryegrass out of the mix, relying instead on Chewings Fescue, two red fescues, smooth-stalked meadow grass and browntop bent for a fine, tolerant leaf under close mowing. The result is a durable, fine-leaved sward that keeps its finish with low maintenance, making it a good fit for golf fairways, lawns and other landscaping areas.
