About Embankment Grass Seed Mix
An economical, non-ryegrass mixture containing rhizomatous grasses, suitable for soil stabilisation on steep banks and slopes. The mixture tolerates the dry conditions often found on embankments.
- 75% Creeping Red Fescue
- 15% Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass
- 10% Hard Fescue
- Sowing rate on bare ground: 50g/m²
- Overseeding rate on thin areas: 30g/m²
- Mowing height: 25mm
