Coir

We supply the following coir products:

Dry and pre-established coir

Coir can be supplied dry for planting on site, or as coir rolls and pallets pre-planted with established root systems. Pre-established rolls and pallets have root growth right through to the bottom of the product, so they establish quickly once installed. Over time, sediment builds up around the rolls and forms a good medium for riparian vegetation.

Densely packed coir rolls last over five years. They resist erosion and support the establishment of sustainable vegetation.

Coir blankets and hydroseeding

Coir blankets are strong, durable and biodegradable. They help plant establishment and are used in soil bioengineering. Blankets can be oversown using traditional seeding methods, or vegetated by hydroseeding. We stock many grades and can help you choose a practical, affordable erosion control method for your project.
