Reclamation Grass Seed Mix (non-ryegrass)

This mix suits reclamation sites rather than amenity lawns: quarries, open cast mine workings, spoil heaps and general landfill sites. It combines fescues and bent grass with nitrogen-fixing legumes (bird’s foot trefoil and small-leaved white clover) for ground that is dry, infertile and close to drought conditions. Tolerance to metal contamination in the soil is limited.
