Depitox Selective Herbicide 5L

Depitox Selective Herbicide is tough on broad-leaved weeds, and is an effective herbicide for docks, thistles, nettles, rush and ragwort. It is approved for use on amenity grassland and turf. Depitox is often used as a mixer product and gives the best results when combined with another selective herbicide to widen the spectrum of weeds controlled. It offers an alternative to ALS (acetolactate synthase) modes of control, which helps manage herbicide resistance.

Keep livestock out of the field to be treated for around 7-14 days before application, to allow lush growth. Do not return livestock to the treated area for a minimum of 14 days after application, or until the poisonous weeds have died back and become unpalatable.

Where to use Depitox

Ragwort control

For ragwort control, mix Depitox at 3L per hectare. Spray when most plants are in the rosette stage and growing vigorously, normally in autumn or spring, but before the flower spines start to grow. Ragwort treatment should be part of a programme, and repeat applications may be necessary.
