About Command "Turf Hardener" Fertiliser 4-0-4 + 9% Fe
Command Turf Hardener is a homogeneous granular fertiliser: every granule carries the same 4-0-4 + 9% Fe nutrient package, so colour, growth and coverage stay consistent across the treated area rather than patchy from granule to granule.
The 1-2mm granules are sized for turf that is kept short. They settle quickly below the sward rather than sitting on the leaf, so greens, lawns and other close-cut turf get even coverage.
Use Command Turf Hardener at any time of year, particularly at the start or end of the season when turf needs lower nutrient levels rather than a strong growth push. It penetrates the sward effectively and suits grass cut from 3mm to 6mm for controlled release.
