Velscape Pre-Seed Fertiliser (6-9-6) is a high-phosphorus, 2-3mm granular feed for newly seeded areas and turf laying. It builds strong roots before top growth takes over, applied at 250-350kg/ha between March and August. Suitable for lawns, parks and less technical turf cut to 10mm or above. Sold in 20kg bags.

About Velscape Pre-Seed Fertiliser (6-9-6)

Velscape Pre-Seed Fertiliser (6-9-6) is a high-phosphorus feed for the establishment stage: newly seeded areas, freshly laid turf, or any site where soil phosphorus needs topping up before the sward develops. It is part of the Velscape range of landscaping fertilisers, each formulated for a different stage of turf establishment or maintenance.

The 6-9-6 analysis is weighted towards phosphorus, which drives early root growth so grass has a solid base before mowing and wear become the priority.
