Keep Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer refrigerated until you are ready to use it.

The nematodes are suitable for use on edible crops and in open ground where standard chemicals are not permitted. Nemasys controls the vine weevil larvae present in the soil and protects the treated area from further damage for up to 6 weeks.

Localised spot treatment

• Fill a clean bucket with clean water.
• Take the nematodes out of the fridge and open the containers.
• Tip the entire contents (minus the container) into the bucket and stir gently.
• Rinse the container out in the bucket to make sure all the nematodes are mixed in.
• Pour a proportion of the concentrated mix into a watering can and top up with fresh water.
• Water onto soil or lawn, then water in with a hose or watering can.
• Each pack treats 100 m².

Broad application area

• Wash the feeder through with water to make sure it is clean.
• Add the entire contents of the pack to the bowl of the feeder, fill with water and stir to mix thoroughly, then attach the hose.
• Keep the feeder upright and apply evenly across the whole area for 8 minutes, using a side-to-side motion to keep the nematodes well mixed. Most of the nematodes will be applied during this time.
• Treat the same area again for a further 8 minutes (16 minutes for lawn applications) to apply the remaining nematodes and water them in. Lawn applications need more water to wash the nematodes through the grass thatch.
• Stick to the application timings: any colour left in the bowl afterwards is inert carrier only, which confirms an even application. This method is simple and effective, but only if you follow the instructions exactly.
