Coir Mulch Mats

An environmentally friendly weed barrier

Coir mulch mats are made from coir fibre and are 100% biodegradable, so there is nothing to remove once your planting is established. They suppress existing weeds and grass and help stop regrowth, without reaching for a herbicide.

Placed around the base of a tree or shrub, the mat keeps weeds down, protects the root zone from frost, and reduces moisture loss from the surrounding soil. Because the mats break down naturally, they can be left in place rather than lifted and disposed of later.
