The Berthoud Vermorel 1800 is a 16-litre knapsack sprayer built around a curved piston diaphragm pump that holds working pressure at just 8 to 10 strokes per minute, compared with 30 to 40 on a conventional knapsack. Less pumping means less arm fatigue, steadier pressure at the nozzle, and more attention left for the job over a long spraying day.

The diaphragm pump uses a curved piston, which builds and holds pressure more efficiently than a standard straight-piston design. Operators use less energy to maintain output, and spray quality stays consistent from the first litre to the last.

An ergonomic back frame

The back frame follows the curve of the operator’s back rather than pressing a flat panel against the spine, so the sprayer sits closer to the body and spreads its weight across the back and shoulders. Padded, adjustable double shoulder straps let each operator set their own fit.
